Haztec International Ltd is a company registered in England number 4157886. Our head office is located at Moorfield Road, Leeds, LS19 7WB. We design, manufacture and supply visual and audible vehicle warning systems to customers worldwide. We are committed to respecting your privacy in line with our legal obligations and because we believe it makes good business practice. This notice provides you with information on what personal data we capture, the lawful bases on which we process your data, how we keep it safe and that we do not retain any personal data for longer than is necessary. It also provides instructions on how you can change your preferences at any time or make a complaint.

What personal data do we capture?
If you buy from, or sell to us, we will capture only the personal data we need to perform our mutual contractual obligations such as your name and contact information, company name, invoice and delivery address(es), and any financial information we need to complete the transaction. We also capture information necessary to comply with the requirements of relevant UK and international tax and customs authorities. We may also undertake credit and fraud prevention checks with compliant agencies before we open a credit account on your behalf; as part of this process we may ask for your bank details in order to verify your credit status and/or for trade references. The legal bases on which we use your personal data in these instances are: performance of contract, legal obligation and legitimate interest.
We may also capture your information for the purpose of quality and to help us improve our products or services. This might include, for example, information we gather in the process of resolving any technical issues, or a complaint or compliment we have received. In addition, we capture and process names and contact information on existing customers and prospective customers for the purposes of direct selling and marketing. This is so we may contact you by email, telephone, fax, text, post, social media and/or via our website, in line with the specific opt-in permissions you provide to us. We do not carry out any automated profiling or decision-making based on any categories of personal data.

How we may share your data
We will only share your personal data with compliant third parties and only when we need to do this to perform the contract between us or to meet our legal obligations. For example, we use Worldpay to manage secure credit card transactions on our behalf.
Keeping your data safe
We take all reasonable measures to protect your data including using secure encryption technologies when you use our online services. We keep our premises, files and computers secure. No personal data is stored or processed outside of the EU.
How long we keep your information
We do not hold personal data for any longer than is necessary, and ensure that physical and electronic files are destroyed and/or erased securely at the appropriate time.

We take every precaution to ensure any communications you receive are relevant and are not intrusive.
