More great examples of Haztec product out in the field having left our Leeds, UK factory, this time providing all-important apron marshalling and security functions at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, UK in July 2022.

Haztec supplied more than ten high visibility Xpress lightbars built to customer specifications with 3-3552 16 x 3 Watt LED dual row beacons at each end with CAA CAP 168 Type C / ICAO Annex 14 airport complaint flash patterns*. A number of the lightbars also included front floodlights and rear red flashing warning lights. The bars also contained either a centre sign bearing the Royal International Air Tattoo logo or FOLLOW ME to the front and rear, with two bars providing the air operations team with the ability to switch between a series of different messages thanks to the rear-facing 99-message programmable LED sign.

The Tattoo is one of the world’s largest military air shows, hosting 266 aircraft and 1500 crew members from across the globe in 2022. Visitors included representatives from the Kingdom of Bahrain - the 57th nation to participate in RIAT - and A-list aviation enthusiast, Tom Cruise.
